*Disclaimer*- American sports fans: Quick!, look away!, or your eyes will burn!
In a few hours time, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean in a small, unknown town called London, the perennial underachieving England Mens National Team will take the field in a not-so-meaningless (yet actually meaningless) friendly. The reason for my devotion to this topic is the recent appointment of the possible Messiah (no offence JC) of English football, the Italian, Fabio Capello. This day will mark his first in what I hope is a long successful campaign that will hopefully lead to the 2010 World Cup Finals. The days of Steve (bauge cardboard) McClaren as England manager are over, thank God (oh,..that comeover). So, what can we expect from a genuis manager who has won major trophies in Spain, Italy and everwhere else for that matter who can't yet speak English to the Media? Well, that we'll have to wait and see. But one thing I do know is that the England players now have their best opportunity to win something meaningful since 1966 when they won the whole show (albeit at home, with a dodgy ref.) Remember folks we, (oops) I mean they invinted the game. OK, I'm getting carried away. We'll have to let the Punters decide. Excitment is in the air.
