i furst discovered this film a few years ago, & after viewing
had some????'s
but it's like Kane, & The GF, & La Dolce Vita & definitely L'Avventura,
& possibly even likeClouzot's The Wages Of Fear
where maybe you're too young, or too something
(puzzle pieces not fitting, wrong place, wrong time)
you have to continually discover these films, & find their meaning,
such pure art.
Jules & Jim is altogether tragic & beautiful while tracking the relationships
of 2 friends & their mutual obsession over the course of 25 years
total freedom,
won or lost,...Hey! It's world war 1,...
women complicating things,..opps!,..sorry,..sorry
I know, I know,..
very european circa early to mid 1900's,...(i wonder why)
