the sun won't be shining today,
that's ok though,
sometimes an overcast sky
can bring in a sort of subdued light.
"the imperceptible sun", kind of
reminds me of odd or weary news,
not a bombshell mind you, those
are saved for when there's not
a cloud in the sky, but I speak
of what we know as "news in passing".
the planting of a seed,
the state of affairs,
then what's rain, you ask?
brilliant little reminders.
stinging your desires,
keeping you at bay,
sometimes for the entire day.
but don't wait for thunderous
applause, it will not stand
for your ambition
