crumbs,...(etc.)

(hehehaha)
heard the new Sonic Youth single as I was tucking in my shirt this morning - sounds like an updated version of their older material, are they the only remaining punk outfit? (also, listening to SY while tucking shirt in is a very uncool/unpunk/unSY thing to do) excited to hear rest of album

The ManUnited zips at Dick's that were 70, are now on sale for 54 -waiting til 39. they are bad. i want one.

I met a family from Sheffield, England the other night - it made my day. they spoke with such incredible accents. the bloke my age was named Paul & they were having the hardest time entering their temporary residence 2 stories below me- i helped them. i made a phone call for them.

what was the first thing I asked when they told me they were from Sheffield? "do you know the arctic monkeys?" they smiled, laughed & nodded. that was monday, i haven't seen them since. i hope to see them again before they go home.

i'm starting a book again. it's called Desolation Angels & is by my all time favorite (well, easily top3) writers named Jack Kerouac (or J.Kac) & it's very reminiscent of the other writings that i've read of his thus far. very beautiful & descriptive & very run on & seems to mostly be about well, desolation & finding yourself up on a mountain & all that - but truly inspiring & I wish i could have met this guy once.

& sometimes on the email trail I'll think of a sneaky-bugger film list to send out like i.e. & such today it was best use of food in film top3-Go & then these peeps-some of them were you-came up w/some good funny ones & can i just share like a few? (you know who you are-credit, etc.etc.) If you've seen the films you'll instantly remember:

Sushi - Lost in Translation
Lobster - Annie Hall
Cheeseburger - Pulp fiction
Chocolate - Willy Wonka
Hot Sauce - Dumb & Dumber
Steak - The great Outdoors
Spaghetti Dinner - The Godfather

but it was such fun. & you should do that too. good day!
