& by that I mean: what cultural significance does Thursday have? I can think of none. If there was 1 day in the week that we could easily skip, wouldn't it be this one? Think of it as a sort of "bridge to no where".
Don't most of us relate certain events in the week directly to days? Like Wednesday could be Pint Night, Tuesday is your _________ night, the weekend is, well the weekend. Thursday remains solemn & alone. Wouldn't Friday's be twice as productive?
So keep this in your mind as you trudge what I call "Kubrick-molasses trenches" - & if you've ever seen Paths of Glory, you should know what I mean. If you have seen it & still don't know, it's cool, sometimes I don't make much sense.
