& with that turd I flushed down the toliet,....so the title slips away.

(i'll keep this short) for those of you who follow this blog, you know my passion for all things manchester united - but with that said, today remains a dark day in this seasons pursuit for 5 trophies. we just went down 2-0 at Fulham which equals 2 losses in a row in the league & our comfortable lead at the top of the table gets ever smaller (depending on the results of Liverpool & Chelsea)

but not only do I weep in defeat - i weep in the manner of defeat. United were utterly inept in the first 45 with not 1 single goal scoring opportunity, while middle of the table Fulham continually peppered Van der Sar's goal until Paul Scholes deliberately handled the ball on the goal line. Scholes' infraction resulted in a straight red & a penalty for Fulham - which their captain subsequently netted - United were down 1-nil & a man down,...

maters got slightly better after the break with Rooney coming on off the bench, but United were unable to break through the Fulham back line. In the process, Rooney picked up 2 yellow cards which resulted in his sending off - United in shambles gives up another goal & finishes the game with 9 men (they started with 11)

in the last 2 league games, United have suffered 2 defeats, by far their worst run of form all year long - but more importantly, they have been outscored 6-1 in those 2 games, given up 2 penalties & been awarded 3 red cards - all of which will result in multiple game suspensions for the respected players.

my point in this rant,...? well, i don't know, just venting i guess. but this is the business end of the season & United are in the process of a monumental meltdown,....someone help me.
